Talent Lab – Navigating tax regimes for freelancers in Italy

In this workshop, Dr. Alessandra Birolo, an Italian dottore commercialista specializing in advising expats in Italy as well as freelancers and independent professionals, will provide an overview of Italy’s main tax regimes — from the regime forfettario to the standard ordinary regime.

Participants will learn about key requirements, advantages, limitations, and practical compliance obligations. This session is designed to help existing freelancers optimize their tax position and support freelancers-to-be in defining how to successfully start off their new business in Italy.
