🌿 Walking to Happenings 🌿

All Paths Lead to the Botanical Gardens

On Thursday, May 14th at 10:00 am, one of the most inclusive IWCT activities will take place as usual.  We’ll meet near the arch at Parco del Valentino and follow Linda along the park’s winding paths. By around 10:45 am, we’ll arrive in front of the Orto Botanico dell’Università di Torino—a place many of us have passed by without fully exploring.

Founded in 1729, the Botanical Garden of the University of Turin is not only a delight for the senses but also an important research site.

At this point, the Happenings group will take over: Gaia, one of the garden’s botanists and researchers, will guide us through its diverse collections. You’ll discover fascinating plant life from different regions of the world, including:  Alpine vegetation, Tropical plants, Succulent species, The greenhouse collections.  The guided tour will last about one hour and will be conducted in English.
