When\, in 1922\, he was deemed an unrepentant aristocrat by a Bolshevik tribunal\, the count was sentenced to house arrest in the Metropol\, a grand hotel across the street from the Kremlin. Rostov\, an indomitable man of erudition and wit\, has never worked a day in his life\, and must now live in an attic room while some of the most tumultuous decades in Russian history are unfolding outside the hotel’s doors. Unexpectedly\, his reduced circumstances provide him a doorway into a much larger world of emotional discovery. DESCRIPTION:English Conversation Group…If you are looking to improve your English language skills in a relaxed and convivial environment\, we would love to have you join the IWCT English Conversation group.  We will adapt the sessions according to your ability and needs.  The group meets weekly…twice a month on Zoom and twice a month in person.\nZoom Meetings:  Merry Boggs is the activity leader for the Zoom meetings.  Merry posts the  Zoom Login weekly on the group’s WhatsApp Chat.  The Zoom meetings are September 10\, October 1 & 15\, November 5 & 19\, December 3\, January 14\, February 4 & 18\, March 4 & 18\, April 1\, May 6 & 20\, June 3.\nIn-Person Meetings:  Zoe Hall is the activity leader for the in person meetings.
