Here’s a brief summary of “The Heart Goes Last“….Stan and Charmaine, a young couple, have lost their jobs and face bankruptcy in the midst of a national economic crisis. Forced to live out of their car, where they are exposed to errant gangs, they believe the gated community of Consilience may be the answer to all they have been looking for. If they sign a life contract, they will get a job and a lovely house for six months a year. The remaining six months, they will have to leave their homes and become inmates in the Positron prison system. Initially the deal seems worth it, but when a series of troubling events occurs, Positron begins to look less like the answer to their prayers and more like a chilling reality. The Heart Goes Last is a vivid, urgent tale of freedom and surveillance, struggle and hope—and the eternal workings of the human heart.
Please RSVP below by July 8th to let us know you’ll be joining us on Wednesday, July 10th at 8 PM.
