Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held June 6th 2023 from 10 to 12 at the AC Hotel. It is a FREE Coffee Morning.
This important meeting gives members a chance to decide how the club is run by approving the budget, calendar and activities, allocating funds to charities, and voting on the Board.

BOARD CANDIDATES & BIOS
PRESIDENT
TANYA DHALIWAL
I aim to represent the spirit of the club, and support its development, cohesion, and future. Born in Canada to an Indian family, I studied to become a Doctor of Chiropractic while volunteering in my community. I love keeping busy, and having dance parties with my two sweet and energetic daughters.
COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR
MELANIE FICK
I’m originally from the Detroit area of Michigan. I moved to Torino in 2000 and then to Rivoli in 2005. My husband is Italian and together we have two adult children. I have been a member of IWCT for several years, first in 2001, then again starting in 2016. I’ve worked in support of community mental health, graphic arts, dental insurance and the chemistry department at a university.

CRISTINA RUSCHENA
I am an American/Italian but also consider myself a citizen of the world, having lived in many different places such as Africa, the USA (where my family lives), Switzerland, and now here in Italy with my family. For many years I worked as a Fashion Retail executive. Currently, I work as a freelancer in English translation which allows me to devote myself to raising my son. I happily reconnected with IWCT last year.

HELEN GERRARD
I am from Aberdeen, Scotland and our family moved back to Torino in June 2018. Before, we lived abroad for 15 years and I volunteered for women’s groups in Iran, Pakistan, Kazakstan, and Indonesia. I love the dynamics of the IWCT and the efforts everyone has contributed to supporting each other during the difficult period of the Covid19 pandemic.
EVENTS CHAIR
TATYANA CHIPORUKHA
I was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and consider myself extremely lucky to have moved to New York in the late 1970’s as a small child. I received my degree in Behavioral Psychology and Marketing and spent the last 25 years living, travelling and working abroad in customer service, production and event coordination. I moved to Turin in July of 2022 with my Italian husband and our 5 year old son to find a safer, calmer environment and a better quality of life.

ANNAMARIA SALERNO
I was born in Turin, but I have always had an interest in different cultures. I currently work as a consultant for a multinational company and I have my own Image Consulting business. I have a precious gift and great fortune called Angelica, my little girl. I am a strong, independent woman who wants to redesign and enhance female potential and learn to express it in a totally new and evolved way.
WEB CHAIR
LINDA CAMERON
I was born in the United States. I’m single and have a son who works in the aerospace industry. I am a Speech and Language Pathologist with degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Information Technology. I moved to Torino in July 2022 to pursue my interest in competitive ballroom dancing. I look forward to being an active member of IWCT as a board member managing the website.
