Join Nicole Maina, certified Family Language Coach, for a relaxed and practical session on passing on your languages in a way that actually fits your family’s real life. Whether you’re welcoming a baby or negotiating with a school-age child who has declared “Stop speaking English to me now!”, you’ll leave with joyful, realistic strategies, and the reassurance that multilingualism works best when it feels natural, never forced.

What to expect…

• A short presentation by Nicole Maina on the LingFLoWS® method and how it helps families build a realistic strategy.

• A relaxed round table on topics that might interest you, like passive bilingualism (“I understand, but I won’t answer”), code mixing (three languages in one sentence), the OPOL method (one parent, one language), trilingualism, or passing on a language that isn’t your mother tongue.

• Your turn: space to share your own family’s situation, your real-life challenges, and your questions, with no judgment and no homework.
